Medical Unit

Medical is a 54-bed, adult acute care unit. Patients admitted to the Medical Unit present with a variety of illnesses such as diabetes management; falls; acute respiratory failure; comfort/hospice care; post-surgical; remote telemetry; and pneumonia.

Nurses in this unit work with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Certified Nursing Assistants are available to assist with ADL’s, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the RN wherever needed.
