Surgical Unit

Augusta Health’s Inpatient Surgical Unit is a medicalsurgical floor with 24 private rooms that specializes in surgical cases. Patients may have a variety of operations ranging from orthopedics; general surgery;
thoracic; urology; gynecology; and vascular cases. The Surgical Unit offers you a chance to utilize
your excellent assessment skills and broaden your knowledge of both surgical and medical patients.

Teamwork is our specialty! On a daily basis the team consisting of RNs, surgeons, therapists, case managers, social workers, clerical specialists, CNA/PCTs, and housekeepers work diligently to deliver individualized quality care to every patient.
